Manager, Business Intelligence

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of scalable, high-quality data models to support a complex product ecosystem.
• Manage and mentor a high-impact team of BI analysts, fostering technical excellence and ownership.
• Own the data layer for external customer-facing analytics products (Analytics 2.0).
• Partner with Product and Engineering to build internal AI data capabilities and LLM-powered insights.
• Collaborate with Product Analytics to define metrics, instrumentation needs, and actionable user behavior insights.
• Establish best practices for data modeling, testing, governance, and system reliability.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data-focused roles.
• 3+ years of experience managing or mentoring analysts and building high-performing teams.
• Deep expertise in SQL and data modeling for both internal and external-facing use cases.
• Proven experience with modern data stacks, specifically Snowflake and dbt Cloud.
• Strong understanding of product metrics, event data, and user behavior analysis.
• Experience building or supporting data products such as customer-facing analytics or embedded reporting.
• Proficiency with BI tools like Looker or Sigma Computing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AI/ML data workflows and preparing datasets for AI applications.
• Experience working in high-growth, product-driven environments.
• Ability to translate complex technical data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
