Manager - Business Intelligence

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex, scalable Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business objectives
• Architect robust data models using Power Query (M) and DAX
• Manage the end-to-end BI lifecycle, including requirement gathering, development, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Oversee ETL processes to ensure reliable data integration from multiple sources
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to team members
• Drive performance optimization of dashboards through query tuning and efficient modeling
• Manage reporting solutions using SSRS and develop Excel-based automation using Macros/VBA
• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and adherence to development best practices

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or related fields
• Advanced expertise in Power BI (dashboarding, DAX, and data modeling)
• Strong proficiency in MS SQL Server and SSRS
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration
• Proficiency in Excel Macros and VBA for automation
• Proven experience in team leadership and stakeholder management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of other BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik
• Experience with Python or scripting for automation
• Understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling
