Manager - Business Intelligence

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and deploy scalable, persona-based BI dashboard reports using Power BI and other BI tools.
• Partner with business leaders to understand requirements and educate end-users on self-service data needs.
• Perform data profiling, validation, and exploratory analysis to ensure high data quality and resolve inconsistencies.
• Optimize data models and DAX queries for performance, scalability, and usability.
• Interface with IT and Datawarehouse owners to improve data management practices and enforce governance standards.
• Promote best practices in design and formula structure across the firm's reporting ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in BI development, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) for prototyping and analysis acceleration.
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Data Factory, Synapse, or SQL Database.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications such as DA-100 or PL-300.
• Experience working within a professional services or consulting environment.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and key performance indicators (KPIs).
