Manager - Business Finance and Controllership

Responsibilities

• Drive financial planning, analysis, and business partnership for lending and asset management operations.
• Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis linked to AUM and Net Interest Margin (NIM) targets.
• Provide financial insights to business and credit teams regarding profitability and risk monitoring.
• Prepare portfolio trend dashboards and track NPA (Non-Performing Assets) metrics.
• Build financial models for new loan offerings, asset securitization, or debt capital markets initiatives.
• Supervise finance operations including accounting for loans, provisioning, and interest accruals.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with RBI guidelines, IND AS, and relevant local financial regulations.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly financial closing activities, including reconciliation of loan books and statutory reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls on lending, borrowing, and treasury operations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including treasury, legal, and sales to drive business objectives.

Requirements

• CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
• 5–8 years of experience in business finance, FP&A, or controllership within NBFCs or financial services.
• Strong understanding of NBFC operations, lending cycles, and RBI regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in NPA management and IND AS/IFRS standards.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, and team management capabilities.
