Responsibilities
- Build and manage teams responsible for generating outbound interest and qualifying interest for go-to-market teams
- Manage the productivity and career development of Business Development Representatives (BDRs)
- Provide strategic guidance on qualifying and selling Zip to prospects
- Partner with the Director of Business Development and Sales Leadership to collaborate on account strategies
- Consistently achieve monthly quotas at the team level
Requirements
- 2+ years of people management experience
- 1+ year of experience as a successful BDR
- Experience managing across different segments and geographies
- Experience being part of a scaling BDR team
- Proven track record of mentoring BDRs into AE roles
- Deep knowledge of Sales Engagement Platforms like Outreach.io and Salesloft
- Expertise in outbound sales development, including email copywriting, cold calling, and objection handling
- Data-driven approach to problem solving and coaching
- Knowledge of procurement, finance, or accounting space
- Ability to work in the Toronto office
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience scaling teams in tech startups
- Experience creating and fostering sales team culture
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Gong, or SalesNavigator
