About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage an existing team of 10 Business Development Representatives (BDRs)
  • Drive pipeline generation and optimize outbound sales operations using AI-augmented tools
  • Own the end-to-end hiring and onboarding process to ensure new hires ramp quickly
  • Provide hands-on coaching in cold calling, email prospecting, social selling, and objection handling
  • Implement and coach to the MEDDPICC sales methodology
  • Monitor BDR activity metrics, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution dashboards
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales Directors, Product Marketing, and Sales Ops to align on strategy and workflows

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing a BDR or Inside Sales team (ideally 8+ reps)
  • Experience in Telecom, CPaaS, or AI sales environments
  • Proven ability to coach outbound sales tactics and consultative discovery
  • Strong operational mindset with experience working in systems and dashboards
  • Technical aptitude to master and teach the Telnyx platform

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MEDDPICC, Challenger, or SPIN sales methodologies
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted sales workflows and intent data tools
  • Experience in Mobile, Wireless, or IoT sales
  • A track record of developing BDRs into successful Account Executives
