About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform active sales and market development activities for the Reefer business segment within assigned geographical areas.
  • Conduct client visits and respond to requests for quotation with appropriate commercial offers.
  • Provide full support during company participation in tenders and follow up on offers to collect client feedback.
  • Manage the financial results of Sea Import & Export Reefer profit centers and achieve defined budget targets.
  • Source and negotiate buying conditions, including prices and space allocations, with third-party suppliers.
  • Implement corporate and national product strategies and SOPs, including niche segments like Pharma, Foodstuff, and Perishables.
  • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to ensure continuous quality improvement and compliance with certifications.
  • Report all sales activities and potential business leads using CRM tools.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or an equivalent field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Reefer operations, product implementation, and business development.
  • Proven experience within the freight forwarding industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Technical know-how in AS400, FM3000, and S.P.O.T.
  • Fluent in English with strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a result-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record in professional business development and hunting for new business.
  • Experience managing global agent relationships.
  • Knowledge of IFS, GDP, and ISO certification standards.
