About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the evolution of the API Partner Program into a revenue-generating channel
- Manage a portfolio of high-impact North American partnerships and strategic financial services relationships
- Establish success metrics, track performance, and lead regular business reviews
- Build and optimize referral loops to provide Sales and GTM teams with high-intent leads
- Manage the P&L of the partner portfolio and hit revenue targets
- Develop playbooks, incentive structures, and governance frameworks to scale the API ecosystem
- Directly manage and coach partnership team members
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Operations to drive integrations and negotiations
- Proactively identify and resolve risks to protect revenue and partner satisfaction
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships
- Experience managing complex enterprise or financial institution partnerships
- Experience leading or mentoring team members
- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, high-impact situations
- Strong analytical thinking and business judgment
- Effective cross-functional collaboration and influence skills
- Executive presence and clear communication with senior leadership
- Bachelor’s degree
