Manager, Business and Legal Affairs Operations

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and summarize agreements within the Contract Summary System, including artist recording, soundtrack, distribution, and joint venture agreements.
• Manage digital clearances for all U.S.-based artist agreements to ensure accurate and timely product releases.
• Track contract deliverables and update the summary system regarding modifications to royalty rates, copyright percentages, term structures, and rights.
• Manage centralized U.S. talent rosters and prepare contract summary reports to analyze roster trends and digital/merchandise rights.
• Participate in the analysis, design, and testing of new IT systems and process improvement projects for royalties and digital rights.
• Perform ad hoc contractual research for departments including A&R Admin, Finance, Licensing, and Law.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook).
• Strong ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive thinker and creative problem solver.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or JD degree.
• Knowledge of Oracle or PowerBuilder.
