About the role
Responsibilities
- Review, interpret, and summarize agreements within the Contract Summary System, including artist recording, soundtrack, distribution, and joint venture agreements.
- Manage digital clearances for all U.S.-based artist agreements to ensure accurate and timely product releases.
- Track contract deliverables and update the summary system regarding modifications to royalty rates, copyright percentages, term structures, and rights.
- Manage centralized U.S. talent rosters and prepare contract summary reports to analyze roster trends and digital/merchandise rights.
- Participate in the analysis, design, and testing of new IT systems and process improvement projects for royalties and digital rights.
- Perform ad hoc contractual research for departments including A&R Admin, Finance, Licensing, and Law.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook).
- Strong ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive thinker and creative problem solver.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or JD degree.
- Knowledge of Oracle or PowerBuilder.
