Manager - Building

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the commercial property, ensuring smooth functioning of all building systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and lifts.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules in coordination with technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and regulatory requirements such as fire safety and building codes.
• Supervise housekeeping, security, parking, landscaping, and vendor services to maintain high property standards.
• Monitor energy consumption and implement cost-effective measures for utilities and sustainability.
• Manage tenant relations by addressing complaints, service requests, and operational issues promptly.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for the timely execution of contracts and projects.
• Oversee budgeting, expense control, and reporting for building operations and maintenance.
• Lead the site team, including technicians, housekeeping, and security, ensuring adherence to SOPs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of contracts, maintenance records, compliance certificates, and audits.

Requirements

• B-Tech in Electrical or Mechanical engineering branch.
• 7+ years of experience managing premium buildings up to 1 million sq ft.
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP, HVAC, DG, and BMS.
• Proven experience in team handling and leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of compliance, audits, and safety standards.
• Strong communication and tenant-handling skills.
