Manager BU Northern Europe Sales UK B&I

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sales team for Scotland and the North, focusing on the building and infrastructure sector
• Drive sales growth through specification sales, lead conversion, and managing project pipelines
• Manage end-user sub-contract relationships and develop sales within specialist national and independent distribution outlets
• Provide people leadership, including performance management, goal setting, and professional development for team members
• Deliver product and sales training (CPD) to specifiers, architects, and merchant staff
• Utilize CRM systems to track activities, manage customer data, and report on KPIs and commercial objectives
• Support market price management and implement marketing and sales promotions in designated branches

Requirements

• Proven track record in successful specification sales and project pipeline management
• Previous people leadership experience, preferably within a manufacturing or construction environment
• Strong commercial awareness of building products and the construction industry
• Valid CSCS card holder
• Proficiency in using CRM systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus)
• Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and influencing skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to build a wide network of relevant contacts

• Technical competence in building products or infrastructure solutions
