Manager BU Northern Europe Sales UK B&I

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sales team, including performance reviews, goal setting, and professional development.
• Drive sales growth through specification sales and lead conversion across the product portfolio.
• Manage and develop relationships with End Users, Specialist National/Independent Distribution outlets, and merchant branches.
• Deliver KPI reports, including CRM diaries, weekly matrices, and SAMBA cadence calls.
• Provide product and sales training (CPD) to specifiers, architects, and merchant staff.
• Execute merchant sales plans and implement marketing and sales promotions in designated territories.
• Ensure all customer requests are handled professionally and maintain high standards of health and safety.

Requirements

• Proven people leadership experience, preferably within a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Strong track record in specification sales and managing a project pipeline.
• Sound commercial awareness of building products and the construction industry.
• Valid CSCS card holder.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus).
• Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and influencing skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build a wide network of relevant contacts.

• Technical competence in building or infrastructure products.
• Experience working within a market-leading manufacturing business.
