Manager BU Northern Europe Sales UK B&I

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sales team, including performance reviews, goal setting, and professional development.
• Drive sales growth through specification and lead conversion for the entire product portfolio.
• Manage and develop relationships with End Users, Specialist National distributors, and Independent Distribution outlets.
• Target and convert new merchant distribution branches within designated territories.
• Deliver product and sales training (CPD) to specifiers, architects, and merchant staff.
• Curate and deliver team KPI reports, including CRM management and weekly matrix updates.
• Support market price management, including rebate pre-checks and support agreements.
• Ensure all customer requests are handled professionally and efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven track record in successful specification sales and project pipeline management.
• Previous people leadership experience, ideally within a manufacturing or construction business.
• Strong commercial awareness of building products and the construction industry.
• Valid CSCS card holder.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and influencing skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present to diverse audiences.

• Technical competence in building or infrastructure products.
• An established network of relevant industry contacts.
