About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day administration of all employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, HSA, and wellness programs.
  • Support the development of creative and cost-effective benefits strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Partner with consultants to conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Prepare and file required federal, state, and local reports in accordance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA regulations.
  • Lead large-scale projects such as benefit implementations, plan migrations, or process enhancements.
  • Evaluate and streamline leave management processes to improve the employee experience.
  • Act as a liaison between employees, insurance providers, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
  • Develop and deliver clear communication plans, including annual open enrollment and employee education materials.
  • Analyze benefits utilization, costs, and trends to provide regular reports to senior leadership.
  • Assist with global benefits projects and support ongoing global benefits operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in employee benefits administration.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of plan design, compliance, and administration.
  • Strong understanding of applicable laws and regulations including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA.
  • Proficiency in HRIS/benefits administration systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Experience with vendor management and negotiation.
