About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day administration of all employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, HSA, and wellness programs.
- Support the development of creative and cost-effective benefits strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Partner with consultants to conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure market competitiveness.
- Prepare and file required federal, state, and local reports in accordance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA regulations.
- Lead large-scale projects such as benefit implementations, plan migrations, or process enhancements.
- Evaluate and streamline leave management processes to improve the employee experience.
- Act as a liaison between employees, insurance providers, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
- Develop and deliver clear communication plans, including annual open enrollment and employee education materials.
- Analyze benefits utilization, costs, and trends to provide regular reports to senior leadership.
- Assist with global benefits projects and support ongoing global benefits operations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in employee benefits administration.
- Comprehensive knowledge of plan design, compliance, and administration.
- Strong understanding of applicable laws and regulations including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA.
- Proficiency in HRIS/benefits administration systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.

- Experience with vendor management and negotiation.
