About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Officer in Charge (OIC) with the execution of assigned audits, including testing, management discussions, and documentation.
- Act as Officer-In-Charge for low to medium complexity audits as required.
- Execute, plan, and report on assigned technology and IT/Cyber audit projects.
- Develop risk-based audit approaches by obtaining a thorough understanding of business processes and associated risks.
- Determine root causes of identified problems and draft comprehensive reports and findings for management presentation.
- Stay informed on emerging risks, regulatory changes, and industry trends to convey relevant information to senior management.
- Maintain stakeholder relationships and champion a client-focused, inclusive work environment.
Requirements
- University or post-secondary degree in Business or an equivalent field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in audit or a related field.
- An Accounting designation or a technical/professional designation such as CISSP, CISA, or CRISC (or willingness to pursue one).
- Working knowledge of regulatory environments and operational frameworks.
- Proficiency in using data analytic or visualization tools.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Demonstrated people management and coaching/development skills.
