Manager - Assurance - FAAS

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review EU FinRep reporting templates based on IFRS and EBA/Regulatory guidelines
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of EU FINREP regulatory submissions
• Support global banks on FINREP remediation programs, including S.166 and shadow S.166 work
• Analyze and interpret regulatory changes on FINREP and implement updates in reporting frameworks
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and regulators to resolve reporting queries regarding data attributes and lineage
• Perform analytical reviews on periodic FINREP reporting and provide business insights on financial performance
• Ensure compliance with key IFRS standards, including IFRS 9, 7, 10, 13, and 15
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for banks
• Drive automation initiatives and finance transformation using tools like Alteryx, VBA, Power BI, or ERP systems
• Coach and mentor junior team members to encourage technical excellence

Requirements

• Qualified CA, CPA, ICAEW, ACCA, or MBA in Finance
• 4.5–8 years of relevant post-qualification experience
• Proven experience in EU/UK PRA FINREP regulatory reporting for global banks
• Strong knowledge of IFRS financial reporting, specifically IFRS 9 (Expected Credit Loss)
• Ability to explain complex IFRS accounting effects on financial instruments and derivatives
• Experience with data reconciliations and managing large datasets
• Proficiency in Alteryx, VBA, Power BI, or ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
