Manager/Associate Director - FS

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact accounting advisory engagements for clients across banking, insurance, and investment sectors
• Provide technical guidance on IFRS standards, including IFRS 9, IFRS 17, IFRS 7, IFRS 10, and IFRS 16
• Advise on complex financial transactions, standard implementations, and transformation programs
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and accounting policies
• Develop strategic client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to senior finance leaders
• Drive business development efforts, including proposals, pitches, and new client acquisition
• Manage multiple project teams to ensure quality delivery and efficient resource utilization
• Mentor and coach junior team members to support talent development

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in accounting advisory, financial reporting, or audit
• Strong background working with Financial Services clients (banking, insurance, asset management, or fintech)
• Deep technical expertise in IFRS, specifically standards impacting the FS sector
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or SOPCA
• Proven experience in client engagement, solution delivery, and team leadership
• Strong understanding of the regulatory environment in the GCC
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Big 4 or leading consulting firm
• Arabic language proficiency
