Manager/Assistant Vice President - Credit Analysis

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients and undertake detailed due diligence of borrowers and industries.
• Execute end-to-end annual renewals of limits and borrower ratings in collaboration with Relationship Managers and Credit Officers.
• Support onshore teams with internal applications, including financial and liquidity analysis, cashflow projections, and credit transaction reviews.
• Conduct market research, industry benchmarking, and peer analysis for portfolio clients.
• Perform covenant checking to ensure compliance with financial and non-financial facility agreements.
• Prepare periodic sector reports and event-based stress tests for the portfolio.
• Handle waiver and amendment requests and support internal and external audits.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in corporate credit analysis within a bank, asset manager, or rating agency.
• Post Graduate Degree in Finance or professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, or FRM.
• Strong expertise in financial statement analysis, credit analysis, and industry analysis.
• Proficient in English with excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage workloads, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize conflicting tasks.
• Strong numerical skills and high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience covering the India market.
• Understanding of loan documentation, key credit protections, and various lending products.
• Knowledge of market risk and ISDA documents.
• Experience in team management.
