Manager, ASIC Sustaining Engineering, Silicon Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead the ASIC sustaining engineering team to identify root causes for chip performance, yield, and quality issues
• Drive yield improvement initiatives to meet or exceed targets across Wafer, Assembly, and Test
• Perform root cause analysis for yield excursions using statistical tools and data analysis
• Conduct electrical and physical failure analysis (FA) to locate suspect process stages
• Design and execute experiments (DOE) to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce contamination
• Partner with process, equipment, and design engineers to implement solutions for production lines
• Support early-stage product design through design rule reviews, layout reviews, and DFM assessments
• Work with suppliers to define, implement, and verify corrective actions and solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
• 3+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams
• Experience managing cross-functional programs, building processes, and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management
• Experience defining KPIs and SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses
• Experience reporting technical metrics and project status to senior leadership
