Manager, Architecture & Engineering Design

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage architectural and engineering design and construction administration for specific project areas.
• Manage project resources, finances, and schedules to ensure quality deliverables within budget.
• Coordinate between architecture/engineering vendors and ride/show vendors to manage facility impacts.
• Monitor field construction to identify and resolve discrepancies between drawings and design intent.
• Manage vendor contractual obligations, including scope of work development, RFP processes, and change negotiations.
• Develop design strategies to ensure a complete, cost-effective, and constructible set of drawings and specifications.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports regarding project status and design efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Professional license as an Architect or Engineer.
• Extensive experience with turn-key projects, specifically within the entertainment or theme park industry.
• Proven experience in supervisory roles and contract/vendor management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of forecasting and budget allocation techniques.
