Manager, Analog Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small group of engineers through all stages of IC development, ensuring high-quality silicon and adherence to business schedules.
• Design and own complex analog components including Buck/Boost converters, LDOs, Charge Pumps, and SAR ADCs.
• Implement and compensate control loops and analog feedback loops, managing trade-offs between various compensation strategies.
• Perform block-level error budgeting and specification breakdown from top-level chip requirements.
• Oversee analog layouts from floor planning to chip top completion and verification.
• Establish design flows, methodologies, and checklists to ensure quality and successful silicon production.
• Mentor junior engineers to upscale their technical skills and professional efficacy.
• Manage end-to-end IC development flows, including silicon debug and production readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 12+ years of experience in Analog Circuit Design.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven expertise in designing complex analog circuits (e.g., Buck, Boost, LDOs, etc.) with full ownership.
• Extensive experience in the full IC development flow, including verification, silicon validation, and debug.
• Strong understanding of ESD, latch-up, and other IC-level protection requirements.
