About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end launch and management of the Affiliate Marketing program on Commission Junction, including technical configuration and partner onboarding.
  • Develop and manage the affiliate creative suite, including banners, copy, and landing pages, to ensure brand consistency.
  • Recruit, vet, and onboard affiliate partners aligned with subscription goals and monitor ongoing program performance.
  • Manage the Premium Perks partner benefit program, serving as the primary relationship manager and leading its strategic evolution into a standalone "Offer Wall."
  • Identify and pilot new subscription distribution channels in non-traditional environments such as transit hubs, retail, or outdoor venues.
  • Create detailed technical requirements for development and product teams to support tracking, integrations, and new product concepts.
  • Build business cases for new distribution bets, including audience sizing, cost structures, and projected impact.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, partnership marketing, or a closely related growth marketing discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience launching an affiliate program from the ground up.
  • Strong understanding of affiliate mechanics, including tracking, attribution, commission structures, and partner recruitment.
  • Proven ability to manage external partner relationships and create functional technical requirements for product teams.
  • Highly self-directed with an analytical mindset and the ability to build structure in ambiguous environments.
  • Proficiency with AI tools (such as Claude or similar) to enhance daily workflow and productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience managing a brand's affiliate program specifically via Commission Junction (CJ Affiliate).
  • Experience with subscription-based business models and understanding acquisition/retention economics.
  • Background in developing go-to-market strategies for new products or program concepts.
  • Experience in media, digital publishing, or consumer app categories.
