About the role

Responsibilities

Serve as the lead LA28 point of contact with local authorities, civil aviation regulators, and public safety agencies to secure airspace permissions
Navigate city, regional, and federal requirements to secure flight paths for Games coverage
Support contract negotiations for hangar space, office, and storage facilities
Develop and maintain the Master Aerial Operations Schedule
Liaise with the LA28 Aerial Task Force and aviation providers to integrate aerial plans with security frameworks
Work in the Master Control Room during Games-time to coordinate real-time aerial operations
Oversee the execution of scheduled aerial coverage for ceremonies, competitions, and flybys
Coordinate risk management responses and escalate safety or compliance issues

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
Preferably 7+ years of experience in large-scale event planning, broadcast operations, or aviation coordination
Experience with regulatory and compliance processes and timelines
Proven success building relationships with diverse stakeholders and third parties
