Manager, Accounts Receivable

Responsibilities

• Lead the Accounts Receivable function across the Americas, driving operational strategy and performance to support business growth.
• Oversee enterprise-wide credit policies, customer creditworthiness decisions, and collections strategies to optimize cash flow.
• Identify trends and implement best practices to streamline workflows and improve AR processes and controls.
• Partner with Treasury to deliver accurate cash forecasts and trend analysis to support liquidity planning.
• Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing centralized collections team.
• Collaborate with controllers, finance leaders, and sales teams to resolve issues and enhance customer payment performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, credit regulations, and financial reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, or Finance leadership.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams in a multi-site or regional environment.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk management, collections processes, cash application, and AR controls.
• Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or Master’s in Finance or Accounting.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CGMA.
• Project management experience, specifically leading system implementations or transformations.
• Experience with Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Value Stream Management (VSM) methodologies.
• Background in global or matrixed organizations and experience supporting acquisitions or shared services.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
