Manager, Accounts Receivable

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop the Accounts Receivable function and coach the AR Specialist
• Review customer contracts to ensure accurate billing according to terms
• Ensure timely generation and transmission of invoices and statements via EDI or GHX
• Develop and maintain monthly cash collections forecasts
• Perform outbound collection calls while maintaining customer relations
• Ensure accurate and timely cash application
• Manage account delinquency issues and report to management
• Collaborate with IT and other teams to optimize systems and processes
• Review and approve month/quarter end reconciliations and reporting
• Provide performance metrics for the department
• Assist with sales and use tax returns and other statutory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or accounting
• 8-10 years of commercial credit experience
• 3 years of leadership experience
• Proficiency in ERP systems (QAD EE experience is a plus)
• Strong quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Med-Tech industry experience
• Knowledge of ASC 326 and ASC 606
• Proficiency with credit agency reports such as D&B
• Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements
