Manager, Accounts Payable

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, hold resolution, payments, and month-end close activities.
• Oversee payment execution across ACH, wire, check, and e-payables in partnership with Treasury.
• Supervise and develop onshore AP staff and coordinate priorities with offshore managed services teams.
• Execute SOX controls and ensure audit-ready documentation for compliance and internal audits.
• Manage vendor master data integrity, tax documentation (W-9/W-8), and 1099/1042 compliance.
• Serve as the functional lead for AP operations within Oracle Cloud Financials.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and the adoption of emerging technologies like RPA and AI to enhance scalability.
• Lead KPI reporting and operational analytics to monitor throughput and service level performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or team lead role, including experience managing both onshore and offshore/outsourced teams.
• Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Financials (Oracle Fusion) or an equivalent enterprise ERP system.
• Strong working knowledge of end-to-end AP operations, including 2-way/3-way matching and various payment methods.
• Solid understanding of SOX controls, segregation of duties, and internal audit requirements.
• Proven ability to manage month-end close processes in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a Fortune 500 or large industrial company.
• Familiarity with IDR invoice capture technology and AP automation tools.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Finance programs, e-payables, or virtual card programs.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Demonstrated interest in how AI and automation can reshape AP operations.
