Manager, Accounts Payable

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of nine Accounts Payable Representatives
• Oversee daily operations to ensure delivery against KPIs, service levels, and quality standards
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reporting and internal audit support
• Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments in accordance with agreed credit terms
• Oversee vendor reconciliations and the resolution of discrepancies
• Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with internal policies and procedures
• Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, Finance, and global stakeholders to resolve disputes and improve processes
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives, including system transformation projects
• Monitor and troubleshoot system-related issues and escalate IT tickets as needed

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, or a related function
• 2–3 years of people management experience leading and developing a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Bilingualism in English and French (both spoken and written)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA designation
• Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools
• Previous experience in the Shipping, Logistics, or Supply Chain industry
