Manager, Accounting Services

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to the accounting services team
• Manage team performance, including conducting appraisals and pay reviews
• Oversee training and development by creating individual plans and organizing refresher sessions
• Support recruiting, staffing, onboarding, and termination processes
• Drive operational excellence to meet quality, volume, and timeline targets
• Identify and mitigate risks or bottlenecks within accounting processes
• Translate business strategy and priorities into actionable work products
• Resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems across the matrix

Requirements

• Broad technical expertise in accounting and industry-specific knowledge
• Proven experience in program management and team leadership
• Strong background in performance management and employee development
• Ability to manage professional employees and supervisors
• Experience adapting plans and priorities based on resource and operational challenges
• Strong interpersonal skills to guide and influence internal and external stakeholders
