Manager, Accounting Services

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to a team of accounting professionals
• Manage team performance, including conducting appraisals, pay reviews, and performance evaluations
• Oversee training and development by creating plans and organizing refresher sessions for team members
• Support recruitment, staffing, onboarding, and termination processes
• Identify and mitigate operational risks and bottlenecks within accounting processes
• Translate business strategy and priorities into actionable work products
• Resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems across the organizational matrix
• Guide and influence internal and external customers regarding accounting matters

Requirements

• Broad technical expertise in accounting and finance
• Proven experience in team leadership and performance management
• Strong program management and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt plans and priorities based on resource and operational challenges
• Deep industry knowledge and understanding of accounting concepts
