Manager, Accounting

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly close process for international subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley
• Review and ensure completion of international general ledger activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
• Drive international statutory filing and audit processes, including translating GAAP activity to local accounting standards and currencies
• Identify complex accounting items and facilitate alignment with the technical accounting team
• Maintain internal controls related to financial close, ensuring narratives and flowcharts remain current
• Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, automation, and scalability of the corporate close process
• Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, and providing ongoing training

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of accounting experience
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience with sophisticated financial systems such as NetSuite, Concur, or Coupa
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex financial challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Experience in a public company environment
