Manager, Accounting

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting initiatives and enforce integrity of accounting procedures
• Maintain financial records, general ledger, and fixed assets
• Manage daily activities of the staff accountant
• Review journal entries, expense reports, and invoice coding
• Manage monthly and quarterly financial closes
• Review affiliate and advertising revenue reports
• Coordinate annual financial statement audits
• Monitor tax compliance and communicate with tax advisors
• Support special projects as assigned

Requirements

• 5-10 years of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
• CPA license required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong managerial and leadership abilities
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with general ledger systems such as Oracle Fusion
