Manager, Accounting

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly accounting close activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
• Oversee outsourced service providers to ensure quality and adherence to timelines
• Govern intercompany trade activities between group entities for appropriateness
• Operate within the SOX controls framework and maintain compliance across accounting areas
• Prepare decision-ready commentary for semi-annual consolidated results, highlighting drivers and risks
• Support group and local statutory audit requirements, including US GAAP reporting where required
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and strengthen controls
• Support legal entity lifecycle activities, including new entity set-up, mergers, and liquidations

Requirements

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience
• Strong numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a multinational pharmaceutical or life sciences environment
• Strong understanding of IFRS and US GAAP accounting principles
• Exposure to SAP and Power BI
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across global teams
