Responsibilities
- Oversee general ledger activity, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Monitor daily cash activity
- Review payroll and related benefit entries
- Supervise and develop accounting staff
- Maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies
- Support external audits
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintain confidentiality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibility
- Strong knowledge of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Problem-solving, attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work primarily office-based during standard business hours
