Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger activity, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Monitor daily cash activity
• Review payroll and related benefit entries
• Supervise and develop accounting staff
• Maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies
• Support external audits
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Maintain confidentiality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibility
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Problem-solving, attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work primarily office-based during standard business hours
