Manager, A&R

Responsibilities

• Discover, scout, and evaluate emerging and established artists, producers, and songwriters
• Guide artists' creative development across singles, EPs, albums, and visual content
• Oversee recording projects from concept through final delivery, including studio sessions and writing camps
• Supervise music video and visual content production from concept to final delivery
• Manage recording and video production budgets, tracking costs and approvals
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Digital, Publicity, Sync, and Legal teams
• Analyze streaming data and audience engagement to inform creative and release strategies

Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in A&R, artist management, or a related field within the music business
• Strong ear for music and deep understanding of current and emerging music trends
• Proven experience supervising music video and visual content production
• Experience managing production budgets and familiarity with industry contracts
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, sometimes at a moment's notice
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience working across international markets and time zones
• Proficiency with analytics tools such as Spotify for Artists or Chartmetric
