Manager 5, Program Management Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end engineering activities for new factory setup, including facility readiness, equipment installation, and commissioning
• Drive qualification processes and execute ramp plans to meet output, yield, and quality targets
• Define, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes while overseeing equipment selection and validation
• Act as the primary engineering interface with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Facilities, and EHS
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing engineering team through coaching and performance management
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations, driving root cause analysis and CAPA
• Promote a strong safety culture and conduct risk assessments for new processes and equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related)
• 8–12+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
• Proven track record in equipment installation, qualification, and process development
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments (e.g., electronics, semiconductor, or HDD media)
• Strong leadership experience managing engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with factory startup and production ramp-up phases
• Experience working across multiple cross-functional departments
