Management Consultant I

Responsibilities

• Deliver consulting projects and high-quality deliverables to drive tangible outcomes for energy sector clients.
• Conduct comprehensive research and analysis, including data collection, market research, and economic modeling.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings to clients and senior team members.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand needs and foster strong professional relationships.
• Assist in project management tasks such as scheduling, tracking timelines, and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems using innovative methodologies and tools.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a STEM discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Ability to work onsite in a core Guidehouse office or client location.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in grid modernization, electric utility technology integration, or AI/ML modernization.
• Knowledge of Transmission & Distribution (T&D) operations or utilities infrastructure resilience.
• Experience with NERC CIP program support or cybersecurity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with an ability to visualize data.
