Management Audit and Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex and detailed operational and management audits of systems, programs, and processes
• Evaluate systems of internal control, management, and operation for effectiveness and efficiency
• Examine data and records to determine compliance with prescribed methods and procedures
• Review organizational structures, staff utilization, and personnel budget costs
• Conduct audits monitoring contract compliance of vendors, consultants, and providers
• Collect, clean, and organize large amounts of data from various sources and databases
• Draft reports analyzing audit findings including comments and recommendations
• Verify correctness of management and other statistical data

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree with at least 24 semester credits in auditing, accounting, finance, economics, statistics, law, quantitative/qualitative research, mathematics, data science, or related fields
• One year of full-time experience in performance auditing (GAGAS), financial auditing, internal auditing, or IT auditing
• OR a valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
• OR a valid Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certificate
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or criminal justice
• Experience conducting systems analysis or working in quality control
• Strong project management skills in a team-oriented environment
• Superior organizational, analytical, writing, and communication skills
