Management and Sales Trainee

Responsibilities

• Complete an accelerated training program to prepare for Store Management roles
• Support business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
• Build and maintain product knowledge to provide effective customer recommendations
• Build positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers
• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with safety and security policies
• Maintain store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Support employee training, development, and performance management
• Partner with the Store Manager to make outside sales calls to increase market share

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid unrestricted Driver’s License
• College or University Diploma or Degree
• Legally authorized to work in the country of employment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service
• At least one year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Previous experience in a team-oriented setting (work, extracurricular, or military)
• Experience selling paint or paint-related products
• Experience using timekeeping or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities
• Ability to communicate in more than one language
