Management Analyst I

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and technical support for budget development, enterprise funds, and internal service funds
• Assist in establishing efficient management systems and preparing statistical and performance reports
• Monitor specific programs and prepare detailed financial reports
• Analyze operational efficiency and effectiveness regarding personnel requisitions and position establishment
• Define budget and management problems through effective verbal and written communication
• Deliver presentations to staff, management, the City Commission, and external stakeholders
• Interact with all levels of government while maintaining strict confidentiality and discretion

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Urban Studies; OR
• Master's degree in MBA, Finance, Economics, MIS, or Public Administration; OR
• High school diploma (or GED) plus 4 years of experience as a Budget Systems Technician for the City of Dayton and 24 CPE units from the Government Financial Officers Association
• Valid driver's license
