About the role
Responsibilities
- Support and improve office programs and processes, including levy certification, valuation workflows, and property tax system data integrity.
- Conduct organizational analysis, program audits, and evaluations of office policies and procedures.
- Provide data-driven insights, report analysis, and policy recommendations to the leadership team.
- Manage vendor contracts, equipment inventory, and office purchasing in alignment with budget needs.
- Handle public disclosure requests and process property valuation appeal decisions.
- Assist department managers with budget submissions and the preparation of analytical projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or an equivalent combination of education and public-sector experience.
- Proven experience in organizational analysis, program auditing, or policy development.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and various software tools/databases for data management.
- Strong ability to translate complex information into clear written and verbal communications.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain CJIS certification.
- Valid driver's license and ability to provide proof of insurance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within local government or public-sector environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex processes such as exemption determinations or levy rate calculations.
- Experience with ticketing/support systems and quantitative analysis methods.
