Management Accountant

Responsibilities

• Support whole-of-University budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning through high-quality analysis and consolidation
• Contribute to the development of driver-based planning models, insights, and reporting to inform senior-level strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with diverse university stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in financial management practices, systems, and processes

Requirements

• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field
• Progress toward CPA/CA or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and managing consolidated financial information within large, multi-funding organisations
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems (Oracle or Hyperion experience is highly desirable)
• Experience working within PeopleSoft systems
• Strong analytical capability and the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial audiences
• Ability to provide a current National Police Clearance
