Management Accountant EMEA

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end and quarterly close processes for assigned EMEA operational entities, including journal entries and financial statement reviews.
• Manage the accounts payable function for EMEA regional entities, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely vendor payments.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and supporting schedules for statutory audits and tax requirements.
• Manage the quarterly and annual reporting tax and audit cycles, ensuring all filings meet legislative requirements.
• Oversee and develop the Accounting team through goal setting, performance reviews, and ongoing mentorship.
• Audit and approve expense claims within the SAP Concur system and conduct monthly expense analysis.
• Liaise with external accounting firms to ensure compliance with local and US GAAP requirements.

Requirements

• ACCA or equivalent certification.
• 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong technical accounting and analytical skills, including preparation of statutory accounts.
• Proficiency in Excel, Oracle, and Hyperion (HFM).
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP practices and concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of additional European languages.
• Experience managing a team in a regional or multi-entity environment.
