Managed Care Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide daily administrative and client service support to Producers, Account Executives, and managed care clients
• Gather, review, and prepare renewal data including claims experience and premium history
• Process policy changes, renewals, and documentation such as binders and program summaries
• Assist clients with claims reporting and coordinate with carriers, TPAs, and internal teams
• Maintain client communication regarding program structure, coverage, and obligations
• Invoice accounts and assist with tracking receivables and premium payments
• Prepare renewal strategy materials and identify program enhancement opportunities

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in managed care, reinsurance, or provider stop-loss
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• Accident & Health or Property & Casualty insurance license
• Ability to analyze complex managed care and reinsurance arrangements

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of EPIC or similar agency management systems
• Familiarity with provider contracting
• Understanding of CMS alternative capitated payment models
