Mammography Technologist

Responsibilities

• Identify and prepare patients for mammography exams, ensuring comfort and explaining procedures
• Obtain and document accurate patient history and exam-related information
• Perform mammography imaging and process images for radiologist review
• Complete all required documentation according to departmental protocols
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including inventory control
• Assist with quality assurance activities and preparation for ACR and FDA accreditation
• Perform arrival, end-of-day, and next-day preparation duties

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT certification
• Valid Montana State Radiologic Technologist license
• BLS certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 36 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Mammography certification (or ability to obtain within six months of hire)
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• ARDMS certification and experience in breast sonography or stereotactic biopsies
