Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality Screening/Diagnostic Mammography and DEXA (Bone Densitometry) scans
• Ensure patient safety through proper positioning and ergonomic techniques
• Communicate procedures clearly and compassionately to patients
• Perform daily/weekly Quality Control (QC) tests on Mammography and DEXA equipment
• Assist the clinical team with other imaging modalities such as MRI or CT as authorized
• Document, label, and archive images within PACS/RIS systems

Requirements

• Graduate of an ARRT-approved radiologic technology program
• Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) registration in good standing
• 2+ years of dedicated experience in Mammography and DEXA
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
• Valid California Mammography Technologist Certificate
• Current California CRT certificate in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Bone Densitometry (BD)
