Responsibilities

• Conduct imaging in accordance with Atria safety protocols, policies, and procedures
• Use proper patient positioning tools, devices, equipment adjustment, and ergonomically correct scanning techniques to ensure patient comfort and safety
• Assume responsibility for the safety of the patient during the imaging and communicate in a manner appropriate to the patient’s ability to understand
• Refer specific diagnostic, treatment or prognosis questions to the appropriate physician or healthcare professional
• Perform other imaging modalities such as MRI Focus and CT as needed

Requirements

• Vocational or Technical School Diploma
• Current New York State License
• Current ARRT registration
• 2+ years’ experience as a Radiation Technologist for DEXA Mammography

Preferred Qualifications

• Multiple modality certification (Dexa / CT)
• Experience with other modalities
