Mammographer

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality breast imaging services, including screening and diagnostic mammography
• Lead and manage the mammography team ensuring adherence to clinical protocols
• Perform mammograms and interpret results
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
• Oversee training and development of junior staff
• Contribute to service improvement initiatives and ensure health and safety compliance

Requirements

• BSc in Diagnostic Radiography
• Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma in Mammography
• HCPC registration
• Extensive experience in mammography
• Screening and symptomatic experience
• Leadership and management experience
• Knowledge of legislation regarding ionising radiation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
