Mammographer

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammographic examinations, including screening and diagnostic procedures
• Operate advanced imaging equipment to ensure accurate and clear images
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards within a multidisciplinary team
• Provide support and reassurance to patients

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Radiographer
• Extensive experience in mammography, ideally at Band 7 level
• Proficiency in operating mammographic imaging equipment
• Strong knowledge of breast anatomy, pathology, and imaging techniques
• In-depth understanding of radiation protection and health and safety regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
