Mammographer

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammographic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with radiologists to interpret imaging results
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Contribute to the quality assurance programme
• Educate patients about the mammography process and provide support during examinations
• Assist in the training and supervising of junior staff and students
• Uphold clinical practice standards and adhere to relevant protocols and guidelines
• Participate in audits and continuous professional development

Requirements

• Valid HCPC registration as a mammographer
• Minimum of 1 year of UK experience in a similar role, including NHS experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules
