Maker Education Fabricator

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate hands-on STEM camp projects in robotics, engineering, and woodworking for children aged 3–12
• Integrate multiple learning domains into unified, interdisciplinary experiences
• Develop immersive thematic worlds and storytelling elements to enhance educational impact
• Create video-based communication to empower teachers to deliver project visions
• Tailor physical projects to specific developmental stages of children
• Train and coach teachers on the safe and effective use of tools, machinery, and projects

Requirements

• Portfolio of maker projects demonstrating fabrication work
• Experience with electronics including circuits, motors, and sensors
• Proficiency in digital and physical fabrication such as woodworking, 3D printing, and laser cutting
• Experience with microcontrollers like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or Micro:bits
• Knowledge of coding tools such as Scratch, Python, or robotic frameworks
• Understanding of child development for ages 3–12
